Theo and I went heavy on the antioxidants this Valentines. We baked a raspberry rendition of a Sacher torte... too bad the other two men in our life weren’t here to help us out. #valentinescake #wineandchocolate #resveratrolanalogues #antioxidants #trainemyoung #willmakeitupwhentheygetbackI suppose, in theory, that one could have too many #hellebores , but I don’t think I’m there yet. #helleboreSweet vignette seen at the @xeraplants shop the other week. I just love how the fallen manzanita lanterns get a second life out of their fine textured landing pad below. Lifted my spirits on a rainy day! #hardworkingplants #doubleduty #secondrun #xeraplantsTo all my Chinese friends- Happy New Year! It’s the year of the 🐖! May it be a good one... The LanSu Garden looked marvelous in its celebratory decor, as we peeked inside when we wandered by. The last two shots were taken from my husband’s workplace up above. I was kind of disappointed that the garden itself wasn’t more lit up. It would have made for better photos. Need to come back and get some daytime shots some time. #yearofthepig #lansu #portlandchinesegardenSome snowy, some not. That good white stuff sure didn’t last long. #prettywhileitlasted #raresnowfall #raresnow #mygardentoday#thejapanesegarden is lovely even on a rainy day. After the renovation, there is plenty to keep your interest peaked while waiting to go inside. ☔️
